On October 31st and November 6th, 2024 two working meetings were organized within Erasmus+ project "UPGRADE-Enhancing Graduates' Employability Tracking in Moldova" project (Ref. No.: 101129166), co-financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
Both events were dedicated to the development of methodologies and tools on graduates' employability tracking in the Republic of Moldova.
The 1st working meeting, organized on 31st of October, 2024 took place online was opened up by the by Dr. Rodica CRUDU, UPGRADE project manager who highlighted the importance of involvement of higher education institutions from Moldova in the development of legislation in force, methodologies and tools regarding graduates' employability tracking. During the meeting has been presented and discussed draft version of the questionnaire for monitoring the employability and professional path of graduates. The questionnaire has been elaborated by the team of experts of Moldova State University (P2-USM), in close cooperation with team of experts of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (P1-ASEM) based on the requirements for Graduates’ Employability Survey (Milestone 6), elaborated by the P1-ASEM’s team.
The expert members of partner universities’ working groups shared comments on the survey contents and sections, followed by recommendations on its improvement expressed by Ms. Nadejda VELISCO, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.
The second working meeting took place online on November 6th, 2024 and was dedicated to definition and approval of the final version of the questionnaire for monitoring the employability and professional path of graduates as a result of recommendations and comments provided by the partner universities. At the same time, concept of the national platform for Graduates employability (Milestone 10), elaborated by P1-ASEM team, has been presented and discussed.
As a result of the two meetings, the questionnaire for monitoring the employability and professional path of graduates was defined and will be piloted by the six partner universities from Moldova. The piloting will result in elaboration of Graduates’ Employability Country profile of the Republic of Moldova. The partners will provide list of recommendations for improvement of the questionnaire which will be revised by the Ministry of Education and research of Moldova in terms of definition and approval of the final version of the questionnaire on national level.
